York & North Yorkshire LEP Skills Conference

York & North Yorkshire LEP Skills Conference

Wednesday 19 January 2022, 9am - 11am

Hosted by the York & North Yorkshire LEP

Technology is changing at an incredible pace. Manufacturing is beginning to use Data Analytics and Cloud Computing to lower costs, reduce downtime and minimise waste. In retail, shoppers can turn to technology rather than the traditional checkout. But this automation is also reducing the number of staff. What will the jobs of tomorrow look like? What are the challenges and opportunities for our region and how is our skills system adapting to ensure our current and future workforce stays ahead of the curve?

Join the YNY LEP skills team online as we look to answer these questions and more. Expect lively discussion from panellists, presentations and the opportunity to share your views.
