The Area Based Review for the York, North Yorkshire, East Riding and Humber area has begun, with the first meeting taking place on 6 October 2016.
Area Based Reviews focus on how local college provision meets the area’s educational, economic and skills needs, and provide an opportunity for institutions to make changes where necessary.
In preparation for the first review meeting, the YNYER LEP has worked with key stakeholders, including further education providers, local authorities and in liaison with Humber LEP colleagues developing a shared understanding of the potential outcomes of the Review across the LEP areas.
The refreshed
YNYER LEP Strategic Economic Plan provides the contextual data to articulate the skills vision for the area.
Stakeholder engagement is an important part of the review process. The LEP’s and local authorities involved with the review are working to ensure that our
key stakeholders have an opportunity to feed in their views.
