Work is progressing to help shape delivery and investment for growing sectors in York and North Yorkshire.
Specialist sector leads are now in place at the Y&NY LEP, new Skills Bootcamps in areas of digital and green construction are being delivered and those to support other sectors further explored. These developments and more are highlighted in a progress update to our Skills Review of Priority Growth Sectors report. This reflects work across the sectors since the initial report was published in June, and outlines what lies ahead.

About the Skills Review of Priority Growth Sectors report
This report includes deep dive research into key sectors to understand skills challenges and needs. The Y&NY LEP previously published a report from Kada Research (on the LEP's behalf) that identified high growth potential sectors across the region.
If these sectors are to grow within the sub-region, it was recognised that the skills agenda will be critical, particularly ensuring that the right people are available with the right skills.
