Bespoke Skills Service - EU Funded call is open

The £700k Bespoke Skills service aims to expand the offer to employers across the YNYER LEP area, of a range of skills that businesses tell us are critical to realising their plans for growth. The service will focus in particular on delivering technical and specialist skills alongside wider provision to support employees, managers and leaders to develop working practices that will drive high performance and improve productivity.

This provision will encompass competencies relating to, for example: • Critical thinking and high level analysis • Creativity • Teamwork and collaboration and • Effective decision making Businesses – from sole traders to SMEs - who want to grow and operate in one of the LEP’s priority sectors will be targeted for support. The service will provide up to 50% of the full cost of training and employers will be actively involved in selecting the providers most suited to meet their needs.
